OxyWhey

OxyWhey is an innovative, research-based, non-GMO protein blend. The formula contains whey protein concentrates and isolates, supplemented with vitamins, minerals and other ingredients. Available in a range of natural flavours, OxyWhey has been developed as a protein product for daily consumption.

Proteins are polymers of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) linked together via peptide bonds. They are a food source that plays a role in many physiological processes. The recommended daily allowance (RDA) for protein for healthy individuals is often quoted as around 0.8 g/kg/day; in sports and fitness circles, higher guideline values are sometimes used, depending on purpose and training load.

OxyWhey provides 25g of protein, 2g of fat and 4g of carbohydrates per measuring scoop. The formula is formulated with attention to taste and digestibility.

Amino acids and composition
OxyWhey contains a full spectrum of essential amino acids, including the branched-chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, valine). Below is a list of amino acids mentioned in foods and supplements: methionine, lysine, tryptophan, threonine, phenylalanine, histidine, leucine, isoleucine and valine.

B vitamins
The formula contains a broad spectrum of B vitamins and other micronutrients. B vitamins are found in many foods and play a role in various metabolic processes.

Vitamins & minerals
The composition includes vitamin C and zinc, as well as chromium picolinate and an electrolyte mixture (potassium, calcium, magnesium). These ingredients are part of the nutritional composition of OxyWhey.

Other ingredients
KSM-66 Ashwagandha and L-theanine are added; these ingredients are commonly used in dietary supplements. OxyWhey also contains ProHydrolase® (a mix of digestive enzymes) and a probiotic strain (Lactobacillus rhamnosus) in some flavours.

Usage and dosage
Add 1 scoop (±37.6 g) of OxyWhey to 240 ml of cold water or vegetable milk in a shaker and shake for 15-30 seconds until a smooth shake. OxyWhey can be used at any time of the day, for example after exercise or when extra protein is desired.
